The Montessori de Zamboanga is an educational institution and is an affiliate of the Pre-Elementary Educators of the Philippines, Inc.

Montessori Education is an approach with the fundamental principle that a child learns within a socially-prepared environment which supports each individual’s unique development.  It motivates and provides opportunities for the students/pupils to discover and develop their potentials, talents, and abilities.  The students/pupils shall become socially aware, with a keen of Filipino culture that is ready to meet changes in the society.

The Montessori de Zamboanga's Program aims to develop children in all aspect of growth, physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially and intellectually through the provision of a prepared environment where children can learn through their sense and fully exercise all their faculties.

The school's objective are for the children to:

• Gain self-confidence and a positive self-image, living and working independently, yet in harmony with other and respecting their rights.
• Have a heightened sense of curiosity of his environment and respond to its needs, leading towards an awareness of their cosmic task, and an appreciation of God's creation.
• Learn by doing, acquiring a healthy attitude towards works that is free from extrinsic incentives, rewards or even rivalry and competition.
• Increase their concentration and move towards the improvement of analysis and logical thought.
• Adopt a sense of responsibility towards oneself and other.
